In men must be much more than looks or dance
My friends, when choosing your next banquet date.
Consider these two men who do entrance
And could become your soul’s unchanging mate.
At first there is a man with charming looks;
His eyes are blue as sapphire, teeth are white
As pearl. He gets the marks so high in books
Yet such cold jewels are vain of their own sight.
But here we have a man of sight so plain
That fickle girls shrink back in fright of him.
His grades are not the best, though mind is sane.
He treats you with respect, and not on whim.
So choose him now, if dare for him you may:
A fop or beast who loves you anyway?
